After years of impactful community work, we saw how data entry fatigue in carbon financing created barriers to entry and inefficiencies to move capital at the scale we need to. We created Earth Sama to eliminate those barriers and verify measurable impact on the ground in real time.

Founders

Angeline Chen

After witnessing the destruction of coral reefs in Thailand, Angeline and her partner Kyle Block founded Global Coralition, an NGO dedicated to restoring marine ecosystems through art, science, and community collaboration. Together, they have led global coral reef restoration projects, empowering local communities with sustainable solutions such as marine protection, coral farming and mangrove restoration.

Uynghiem Ngo

Arriving in the Dominican Republic in 2021 and witnessing devastating mangrove fires, ignited a deep commitment to environmental restoration. Inspired by Dharma’s innovative solutions, he set out to scale these efforts globally, bringing impactful mangrove restoration projects to communities around the world. After experiencing the flaws in the carbon credit space, Uynghiem utilizes his technology background to close the gaps.
